Food and Drug Administration Approval
The Helios Decontamination Solution was submitted for an FDA Emergency Use Authorization (EUA) in March of 2020. We will keep you updated as we progress through the review process.
The Solution
The Helios Decontamination Solution is a thermal, forced air decontamination technique that is a practical, safe, and effective way to decontaminate respirators for up to 20X of reuse. The Helios decontamination unit comes in two space-efficient sizes, medium and large, and a ruggedized version for field use. All models only require a 120V power source, with a compact footprint of 28″W x 32″D x 45″H (medium system). With Helios, you have limitless flexibility. The thermal decontamination units can be deployed onsite at the floor, unit, or building, giving you the ability to scale reuse from hundreds to millions of masks. Helios can also be rapidly deployed in austere/tactical environments. The Helios Solution includes a thermal, easy-to-use tagging system for respirator accountability by user and decontamination cycle.
The Science
Helios is based on over 30 independent, scientific studies that show a heat-based solution ensures physical integrity while maintaining filtration efficacy after decontamination.
